PBA IN FASHION DESIGN 

BACHELOR PROJECT

This is the final project of the Bachelor programme. In this project, I had completely free hands. 

I did a collection with 12 outfits, based on soldiers feelings before, during and after war. This inspiration came to me after my menswear project. A combo of interviews with former soldiers, a photoseries by Claire Felicie and trends I connected my self, did my inspiration. This trend is a combo of WarCore and aesthetics.

This kind of inspiration can be grim and a bit dark to work with, which is why I combined it with some beautiful. In this case it was the colors and materials. All materials are clean, simple and nice to wear. Mostely wool, cotton and silk.

After several drawings and drapings, I found my silhuettes and started connecting the dots to a collection. But before all of this could be finished I had to find materials.

Therefor in the first weeks of the project, I took a trip to London to by materials and research trends, connected to my inspiration. When this was all done, I spend all my time in school, deciding which three outfits I wanted to manufact and later on doing exactly that.

After I handed in my exam and got my diploma, I received an email from my school. I was chosen with some other students to present my collection at fashionweek. So I will be present, with my collection, at CPHFW A/W19.
